Day 1:

 

You will be met at OR Tambo International Airport by your driver and transported to The Safari Club for your first nights stay in Johannesburg on a bed and breakfast basis (Dinner is available as an optional extra)

 

Day 2:

 

Your adventure begins with a dawn pickup from your Johannesburg accommodation, igniting the excitement for what lies ahead. We whisk you away to OR Tambo for your shuttle service to Hoedspruit, passing through the scenic Mpumalanga farmlands along the way. After a delightful lunch in Hoedspruit, we journey to your first overnight sanctuary – an enchanting African Village nestled near the Manyeleti Reserve. Upon arrival, our hospitable staff welcomes you to your chalet, providing a haven of relaxation amidst the wilderness. Dive straight into the safari spirit with a captivating Sunset Drive, where the African bushveld comes alive with the vibrant hues of twilight. Keep your senses sharp for nocturnal creatures as you return to Bongan African Lodge for a delectable dinner, savouring the flavours of Africa under the starlit sky.

 

Day 3:

 

Rise with anticipation for an exhilarating safari experience in Kruger National Park. Departing from Orpen, embark on a journey through the heart of Kruger Park, guided by experts who unveil the wonders of its diverse fauna and flora. With unobstructed views from our open-sided Game Vehicle, prepare for extraordinary wildlife encounters, including the legendary Big Five. As dusk falls, gather at Bongan Boma for a sumptuous dinner, recounting the day’s thrilling sightings amidst the ambiance of the bush.

 

Day 4:

 

Immerse yourself further into the rich tapestry of African culture with a morning game drive followed by a leisurely breakfast at the lodge. Indulge in a well-deserved siesta or opt for an exploration of the local village, delving into its vibrant traditions and customs. For an authentic experience, visit the African Sangoma and gain insights into ancient spiritual practices. [or a full-day game drive in Kruger Park if you don’t want the village tour]. Conclude the day with a hearty dinner and another restful overnight stay in the comfort of your chalet.

 

Day 5:

 

As the sun rises on your final day, embark on one last exhilarating game drive, capturing the essence of the African wilderness. After a fulfilling breakfast, bid farewell to this magical haven as we transfer you to your shuttle service in Hoedspruit, carrying with you cherished memories of an unforgettable Kruger Park/Manyeleti adventure and the promise of future explorations in the wild.​
