Day 1:

 

You will be met at OR Tambo International Airport by your driver and transported to The Safari Club for your first nights stay in Johannesburg on a bed and breakfast basis (Dinner is available as an optional extra)

 

Day 2:

 

Begin your journey with a sunrise pickup from Johannesburg, where we whisk you away to OR Tambo for a transfer to Hoedspruit. En route, soak in the picturesque Mpumalanga farmlands before arriving at Bongan Lodge or Wits Rural. Upon arrival, settle into your chalet and embark on a captivating Sunset Drive, immersing yourself in the enchanting colours of the African bushveld. Share stories of the day’s adventures over a delectable dinner at Bongan Boma.

 

Day 3:

 

Rise early for a full day of thrilling game viewing in Kruger National Park. Keep your eyes peeled for the majestic Big Five as you explore the vast wilderness in an open vehicle safari.

 

Day 4:

 

Engage in meaningful community work at Funjwa Children’s School, participating in various projects aimed at enriching the lives of local children. From reading books to environmental education and assisting in sports activities, immerse yourself in the local culture while making a positive impact.

 

Day 5:

 

Continue your community service projects in the morning before embarking on an afternoon game drive in Manyeleti Reserve or Kruger Park, where you’ll encounter an array of wildlife in their natural habitat.

 

Day 6:

 

Embark on a panoramic tour of the breathtaking Blyde River Canyon, visiting iconic landmarks such as Three Rondawels, Bourke’s Potholes, Gods Window, and Mac Mac Falls, followed by a delightful dinner back at Bongan Boma.

 

Day 7:

 

Dive deeper into community engagement before embarking on a village tour and visiting a traditional healer in the afternoon, gaining insights into local customs and traditions.

 

Day 8:

 

Enjoy another full day of exhilarating game viewing in Kruger Park, capturing unforgettable moments amidst the wilderness.

 

Day 9:

 

Combine community work with leisure as you embark on a boat cruise in the scenic Blyde River Canyon, admiring the stunning landscapes and wildlife along the way

 

Day 10:

 

Bid farewell to the community as you visit the Moholoholo Animal Rehabilitation Centre, learning about conservation efforts and rehabilitation programmes before returning for a final evening in the village.

 

Day 11:

 

Conclude your adventure with an early game drive or bushwalk in Kruger Park, followed by a hearty breakfast. We then transfer you to Hoedspruit for your journey back to Johannesburg, leaving behind cherished memories and a sense of fulfillment from your immersive safari and community service experience.
